Care Connections

Blackdown Care Connections is a new, not‑for‑profit, community‑focused service from the Blackdown Support Group.

Our purpose is simple: to help local people connect with trusted, self‑employed carers who can provide personalised, affordable support at home.

Trust, Experience & Local Knowledge

We introduce individuals and families to reliable, independent care providers who offer flexible, person‑centred assistance — helping people maintain independence, dignity, and wellbeing in the comfort of their own homes.

We are proud to be working alongside other community projects collectively known as the Somerset Cares Alliance to improve the quality, accessibility, and sustainability of adult social care.

These community‑led initiatives aim to make it easier for people to find the right care and support close to home. Communities will share ideas, set priorities, and work together to ensure no one is left behind. Volunteers, families, and local groups will unite to create a stronger, more connected support network for everyone.
